WORKFORCE

Price County is known for well-educated, highly-skilled employees who have a strong work ethic and sense of
pride in their community. Price County's entrepreneurial
spirit featuring high tech wood products, plastics, and tool
and dye has developed one of the strongest manufacturing bases in the state. Price County has the third highest share
of manufacturing jobs among the state's 72 counties. Manufacturing jobs represent 37% of the workforce.

The Price County Job Center is located at Northcentral Technical College in Phillips, where resources are provided for workers, job seekers, and employers. For workers and
job seekers, the Center offers help with resumes and career planning and provides information on available jobs. Employers can access training services, including job readiness and job retention skills for their employees, as
well as information on employment-related tax incentives
and training grants. For more information, please visit www.co.price.wi.us/government/WIJobsCenter.
