Why Price County? Price County has the ideal location.  It is a friendly area nestled in the heart of the northwoods, and provides a wonderful quality of life in every day living, educational and work opportunities, business development, and recreation. Our transportation networks include the highway, airways, and railroad system. Our local clinics and hospital provide quality care and excellent service, as do our police, fire, EMS, and public utility services. "Price County is where 4 generations of my family, on both sides, have been raised.  My husband and I decided to stay here in Phillips to have and raise our two children.  I couldn't want anything more!  We have an amazing small town with the most friendly people, cute local businesses, an ever-growing school district and plenty of outdoor activities to engage all ages.  Nothing could feel more like home!"
