EDUCATION
Wisconsin is well known for high quality education, and Price
County is no exception. The area features the school districts
of Park Falls, Phillips, and Prentice. Park Falls also has
a parochial school, St. Anthony of Padua Catholic, and the

Beyond high school, Price County offers a Technical College education at the North Campus of Wausau's Northcentral Technical College. Additional nearby higher education opportunities include Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College, Northland College in Ashland, and Nicolet College
in Rhinelander.
Northcentral Technical College
Northcentral Technical College (NTC), located in Wausau, provides
relevant occupational training in more than 40 programs to
people from north central Wisconsin. The
Phillips Regional
Campus of Northcentral Technical College was built in 1989.
NTC provides high-value learning to residents in its service area by providing online learning, interactive television system (ITV), and alternative learning approaches such as self-paced learning labs and courses by videotape.
Business and industry turn to NTC for customized training
and technical assistance. The college offers a wide range
of
services, including tailor-made classes, testing and evaluation,

UW-Extension
The University of Wisconsin-Extension in Price County provides
resources for individuals, businesses, and
other organizations.
These include Agriculture, Natural Resources, Community Economic
Development, 4-H

Small Business Development Center
The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) offers
small
business owners, and entrepreneurs confidential,
no-cost, individual
counseling services, and low-cost training
programs including
writing business plans, buying or selling
a business, marketing,
accounting, personnel management, and controlling costs. Price
County is
served by the SBDC located at University of Wisconsin-Superior.
